Dr. Stuart P. Miller, M.D. is a highly accomplished and seasoned healthcare executive with over 40 years of experience in various healthcare businesses. He is currently the Medical Director of one of the largest privately held generic pharmaceutical manufacturers in the United States, Nephron Pharmaceuticals. In his entrepreneurial career, he has invented and developed revolutionary medical device technology that has included breakthroughs in airway drug delivery systems, clinically approved pharmaceuticals, and many other devices used globally to improve the quality of care with a focus on affordability on developing countries.
Prior to his biotechnology and pharmaceutical career, Dr. Miller was chief executive and managed operations for a number of large hospital facilities in the United States.
In addition to his business career, Dr. Miller has made significant contributions to the field of rehabilitation medicine. He is a founding partner of Brevard Rehabilitation Medicine, where he has been practicing since 1986, specializing in stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, neurologic rehabilitation, and pain management. Dr. Miller has consistently continued practicing on patients throughout his business career with a strong held belief that those in the healthcare industry must always stay in touch with their patients.
Dr. Miller is an Adjunct Professor at the Florida Institute of Technology's School of Biomedical Engineering and an Attending Professor at the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American Academy of Pain Management.
