He spent his professional life helping people and businesses to get established and run their business in a professional way. He has advised and assisted businessmen and financial institutions establish new investment banks in Bahrain. He has also assisted major regional institutions to carry out feasibility studies to create new financial arms for them. His work experience covers the GCC, Los Angeles, California and Egypt.

Advisor to H.H. The Crown Prince of Bahrain, from 2003 to 2004.

First Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Economic Board, from October 2000 to May 2003.

Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen Bahrain until October 2000.

Worked with the Founders of Gulf Finance House to establish this Investment Bank, which is a leading Investment bank today.

Worked with the Islamic Development Bank to prepare the feasibility study and business plan to establish the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD).

Worked with the Management of the Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait to establish the first Islamic Investment Bank in Bahrain.

Worked with the developers of Durrat Al Bahrain to prepare the first Master Plan of this private 20 Square Kilometer Resort.

Lead the drafting and issuing of the first Telecommunication Law in Bahrain to move Bahrain from a monopoly of one company to an open country.

Lead the drafting and issuing of the first e-Law, which allowed courts and legislators to accepted documents by emails and other electronic means.

Created three of the first Mutual Funds in Bahrain for Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait.
