In 2001, Ahmed began his career in the public sector by joining the Saudi Electric Company (SEC), a state-owned electric power and distribution company. He started as a technician, but after ten years, he was transferred to more administrative roles, including customer service management.
During these times, Ahmed was appointed as a board member of the Ha’il Council - headed by Emir of the Ha’il province- considered one of the proudest moments in his career. He ultimately spent 30 years working with Saudi Electric Company.
Northern Ha’il Electric
Years later, he became the Director of Northern Ha’il Electric for seven years. He has spent most of his career in the electric service industry as he views it as the most necessary for citizens and residents. This experience led him to develop extensive relationships and get several out-of-policy promotions.
